When two gates are connected in your chart, a channel is created. Within a channel, two properties reinforce each other; there is a powerful flow of energy. You not only have access to the properties, but also the energy to harness this property. This new third characteristic. So what makes it your unique strength.
Do you see a very black or red line running in your chart? From one portal to another? Then this channel is active in your design.
To illustrate this, let’s think of mixing paint colors. When you mix blue and yellow together you get the color green. So 1+1=3. The same happens when you have two activated gates that together form a channel in your Human Design chart. How can you use these channels in your daily life?
Channels bring the most recognition when I am doing a Human Design reading with a client about their Human Design chart. It is really nice to get the validation of something you may deep down have felt but brushed away because you couldn’t logically explain your natural talents. Wouldn’t it be nice to know a bit more about these channels?
If you are deep diving into the Human Design system your defined channels are your super powers. Your strengths! What you naturally are a rockstar at. Your gifts in this life.
These insights are very useful to know when you are switching careers for example. Would you like to find a job that brings you joy and fulfillment? The channels will tell you about your talents but also how these talents are triggered by others in your environment. Remember 95% of our behavior is subconscious!
If you are an entrepreneur your channels reveal a lot of insights about what kind of task you are naturally good at. Knowing this helps you with increasing your productivity and perhaps what tasks you rather would outsource.
